AMF Secretary-General elected as UCLG-MEWA Council Member

AMF Secretary-General, Dr. Goshtab Mozaffari, has been elected as the UCLG-MEWA Council Member during the 6th congress of UCLG-MEWA.
AMF Secretary-General, Dr. Goshtab Mozaffari, has been elected as the UCLG-MEWA Council Member during the 6th congress of United Cities and Local Governments Middle East and West Asia Section (UCLG-MEWA) which was held on 9-10 July, Mehdi Piri, the AMF's Public Relations Director said.
During the event which was held on Amman Municipality, UCLG-MEWA Secretary-General, Mehmet DUMAN, has announced the council members' name who have been elected in the congress for the 2019-2022 period.
UCLG-MEWA Secretary-General said "The valuable contributions you have made under the umbrella of UCLG-MEWA to the development of local democracy and cooperation between local governments are highly admirable" and hoped more contributions from the new members in the new period.
The congress was held with the participation of local government representatives from the Middle East and West Asia Region as well as other countries.
During the congress, presidencies of UCLG-MEWA Committees were determined as well.
