AMF committees to become more active

The Five Specialized committees, named:
will become more active.
Based on the Gaziantep Declaration, adopted during the Fifth Conference of AMF's General Assembly on December 2018, the activity of the AMF Committee on Urban Traffic and Transportation will continue during the current period by 2021.
Also, the Five Specialized committees, named Smart Cities, Resilient Cities, Livable Cities, Women Network, and City Councilors, will make the effort on development during the period.
During the meeting at the permanent secretariat of AMF, Dr. Goshtab Mozaffari the AMF Secretary-General emphasizing the key role of specialized committees for the achievement of AMF's goals added, " The committees are expected to be able to attract active and effective participation of domestic and international scientific and specialized institutions and bodies and also Identify the challenges, opportunities, threats, and strengths of each of the six areas of interest," and he continued that "Providing consulting services, holding workshops and courses, as well as scientific and specialized meetings will help to the Forum's goal achievement".
At the end of the meeting, Mr. Behdad Abdollahi was appointed Secretary of the Asian Cities Transport and Traffic Committee and Mehdi Bina as Secretary of the Asian Smart Cities Committee by Dr. Goshtab Mozaffari the AMF Secretary-General.
